Kelly Swanson is a physics PhD student at U.C. Berkeley. She received her B.S. in physics at California Institute of Technology with an emphasis in high energy physics. Currently, she develops laser plasma accelerators at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and has an interest in developing science policy. When not in the lab, she enjoys running and eating bubble gum-flavored ice cream.
