Janani Mohan is a researcher, policy analyst, and author. She graduated UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science. While at UC Berkeley, she researched nuclear policy in coordination with Sandia National Laboratories, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the Federation of American Scientists. She has also interned at several U.S. government agencies, notably including the U.S. State Department, National Commission on Service, Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian Institution. Additionally, Janani has served as a representative to conferences at the United Nations (Austria), the National Defense University, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and the Nehru Memorial Museum (India). She is committed to public service and was awarded the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award Gold Medal.
